by | Dec 31, 2018

How did you ring in the new year? Was it a toast at an altitude of 30,000 feet or instagramming under a glittering shower of fireworks? Either way, you get a fresh start come January 1.

It is also a time to reflect on what a year 2018 has been. You have picked up a foreign language or met the one on a flight while ticking off your dream travel map. While there could be some other resolutions left undone, but please remember this: the journey matters more than the goal.

How about scripting your 2019 new year’s resolution from a different perspective? Identifying the goal is only the first step. Next, figure out what is holding you back from taking action. Then, focus on the journey instead of the ultimate goal itself and notice your emotions. Are you feeling better and happier? In some ways, scoring the goal is a by-product of your journey and you would have celebrated with photos on Instagram #achievementunlocked.

Chances are, we bet one of your resolutions is to travel more.

Look. You’re on track. Here is our invitation to you with stories to inspire you to embark on a journey of discovery. Whether you’ve always wanted to sashay down the streets of Cuba or chow down the night markets in Taiwan, our hope is that you’ll live your legend and be a discoverist.
